Sprint day 1.
A Really Big Mac in our room (it's Philipp's). Stylish—I just had to take a photo of that.
This water in front of the sprinting rooms is a bit ugly. Too much chlorine in there—tastes like swimming pool.
Sprinting on Docutils in the sprinting room. From left to right: Thomas "Tad" Drake, Felix Wiemann (me), John Gill, Martin Pool, David Goodger, Facundo Batista.
The sprints are going well. Facundo's working on a GUI, John's working on LaTeX math in HTML, and Tad's working on the Python Source Reader. David and I help a bit.
During the day, Kirby Corporation (they're selling vacuum cleaners) is holding an event in the ballroom—motivational stuff. The ballroom is full of Kirby employees (suits, no t-shirts), and they are enthusiastically shouting all the time. (We didn't manage to be ever so enthusiastic during the conference. Maybe we're just not as cool.) This is a photo of the ballroom that I managed to take in the evening:
