Vogontia is a simple, Wiki-like FAQ system.
You can see how it looks like (and test it, of course) in the Demo FAQ. For an example of a real FAQ, see the dcis-FAQ (in German).
Features include static pages (which reduces server load), simple design, (basic) internationalization support (currently English and German) and a hierarchical organization of the FAQ entries (something most Wikis lack).
It requires a Unix-like operating system and Python (tested with 2.3, but it should also work with 2.2) on both the server as well as your local system. Windows won't work due to filesystem limitations.
It has been written with poor Python, CGI and i18n knownledge, it is extremely hackish and it is no longer actively developed. But it works. If you are convinced that you need it, you should give it a try. The documentation may be incomplete, so feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
